Karachi, Pakistan – Weather experts predict a heatwave intensifying across Sindh until around April 12th, with Karachi experiencing highs between 35°C and 37°C. However, there’s a chance for a shift in the weather pattern later in the month.

Rain Expected After Eid al-Fitr

According to weather analyst Jawad Memon, a westerly weather system could bring light to moderate rain to Karachi and other parts of Pakistan starting April 13th or 14th. This would offer welcome relief from the scorching temperatures. Memon suggests the possibility of above-average rainfall across the country in April, with potentially heavier showers around April 22nd or 23rd.

Hot Eid al-Fitr Forecast

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) anticipates Karachi’s temperature to peak around Eid al-Fitr, which is expected to fall on April 10th. The PMD predicts highs ranging from 37°C to 38°C during this period.
